Vail Resorts acquired Park City and never looked back. Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons will operate as 1 resort beginning in the 2015 ski season to form a unified experience for skiers.

The resorts are joined by an 8-passenger high-speed 2-way gondola from the base of the existing Silverlode Lift at Park City to the Flatiron Lift at The Canyons.  The linkage of the 2 resorts creates the nation’s largest ski area, with a total of 7,300 acres of skiable terrain.

Alta Ski Resort is located at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon.  If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of all the tourists, Alta has the perfect ski slopes for you.  A favorite of the locals, Alta is known for its deep powder and superb terrain.

Skiing opportunities are for all levels, including beginners. It’s great for families because of the variety of slopes, no matter the ability or expertise.  Take a break from the slopes and dine at one of two ski-in ski-out restaurants.
